York is a German researcher at SAP, working on Ontologies and the Semantic Web.

Before that, he has been project leader at AIFB, where he was involved in projects such as SEKT project and the Knowledge Web network of excellence.

For demonstrating the cool features of Semantic MediaWiki he is happy to say that he knows Denny Vrandecic and Markus Krötzsch.

York has been Programme Chair of the ESWC2006. He is interested in Ontology management, Ontology evaluation and OntoClean.
