Ontology evaluation is an important part of engineering and selecting suitable ontologies. It is closely related to Ontology Validation.
Ontology evaluation is a part of the Semantic Web Topic Hierarchy. It was introduced in version 2 as described in History of the Semantic Web Topic Hierarchy.
