OntoWiki is a form-based semantic wiki application, written by Sören Auer, Sebastian Dietzold and Thomas Riechert. It is being developed at the Agile Knowledge Engineering and Semantic Web (AKSW) group at the University of Leipzig. OntoWiki is sponsored in part by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany.

An older semantic wiki application, also known as OntoWiki, was written by Martin Hepp, Daniel Bachlechner and Katharina Siorpaes. It was introduced first at WikiSym 2005, and published one year later with WikiSym 2006. It is now defunct.
