ROO (Rabbit to OWL Ontology Authoring) is ROO is an (OWL) ontology construction tool based on Protege 4 that has been designed to be used by users with limited or no ontology engineering experience. ROO makes the ontology building process easier as it provides guidance about the steps involved and it allows to enter knowledge using an easy to learn controlled natural language.
ROO was developed at the University of Leeds with the support of the Ordnance Survey of Great Britain.
