My name is André and I was born in 1973 in Lisbon, Portugal. I currently live in Alcochete, a small town across the wide river Tagus. You can learn more about me, my work and even listen to some songs if you visit my website and my blog.
I created this page because I've been following this project for a long time. I'm passionate about semantics, but not only semantic wikis or the "upcoming" semantic web. Semantics is all over out society and life, from software development to advertising, from personal relations or even music.

I'm a web-developer, developing web apps and sites in PHP/MySQL since 1998. I'm also fairly good with Javascript and Ajax, and XHTML+CSS trickery, but I'm mainly a PHP geek and I wrote my own MVC framework (Olive).

I'm a certified trainer and I teach the above stated languages.

I play music since I'm 15. I started with the acoustic guitar, then the electric, then the bass and the drums. Nowadays, I'm pretty lonely when it comes to music. I compose, record and mix everything alone in my humble digital home studio that is growing up in my garage.
