[edit] Abstract

Unlike most fixed data representations, Semantic Web data is typically not confined to a fixed schema. This offers tremendous flexibility, but ad hoc combinations of schemata can often be more difficult for the user to understand; consequently, associated data is more difficult to query. In this paper, an approach to interactive exploration of Semantic Web data is presented, supported by a query language based on path patterns and rewrite rules. Browsing of Semantic Web graphs can be used as a means of interactively formulating queries and rules that allow efficient exploration of graph representations.
