Category:!Main-c

From semanticweb.org
Jump to: navigation, search

Articles in subcategories of this category are classes with no notable instances, such as when there is an infinite number of instances. A notable instance is an instance notable enough to have its own article.

These articles should not have a corresponding category with Property:Category about.

Example: Electron, there is a large number of electrons, all equal.

Select (SQL) is the set of all possible sql select statements, an instance of a statement such as "select * from users" is not notable.

The alternative to having this category is to create a large number of categories, like [[Category:Select (SQL)]], with only one article in them, or placing the article in its parent category with a has subclass relation rather than using Category:category in the article, e.g. add [[has subclass::electron]] to Category:Lepton and [[subclass of::Category:Lepton]] to the electron article.
