[edit] Datao, the Semantic Web Browser

Datao is a Semantic Web browser based on Java and Firefox. It embeds the full semantic web stack directly on the web client.

This architecture enables advanced features on the client-side when it comes to the Web of Data:

  • client-side semantic data management
  • client-side data retrieval, aggregation and filtering
  • client-side inference
  • client-side stateful workflows
  • client-side data management and display + synchronization with remote endpoints

Datao is available on Sourceforge at this address: http://datao.sourceforge.net/. The licence is dual, either GPLv3 or LGPLv3.

[edit] Datao, the Semantic Wiki platform

SemanticWiki is an adaptation of Datao for the Semantic Wiki.

SemanticWiki enhances the Datao platform with state of the art Semantic Wiki technologies:

  • controled english
  • semantic triplestore
  • on-the fly inference of natural language
  • p2p semantic synchronization
  • next-gen wiki interface
