This is the german translation for Automobile. Because of the lack of namespaces for different language within this wiki, this article is currently prefixed with de:. The article should work as a testbench for semantic markup of (german) Grammar.

Note:

[edit] Grammatic Semantic

Das Automobil is a Noun (all objects are nouns) with neutral Sex (articles in german are dependent of the "sex" of the noun. The sex is arbitrarily - but fixed as part of the word - defined and also not consistent in some Points ie. Shield is male or neutral). The Adjective automobil (first letter is significant) is grammatically correct too, but not used in german.

Automobil comes from the greek word gr:áut (self) and the latin word la:mobilis (moveable).
