[edit] How to sort pagenames / articles in numerical order ?

Peter Blaise says: From the Help:Sorting "help page":

General
Sorting is alphabetic for pagenames, and for attributes of type string. It is numeric for attributes of type integer and float, taking into account units. It is chronological for attributes of type date.

Does anyone have a way to cause Mediawiki installations to sort article / pagemanes numerically?

Example, the Mediawiki default display of a list of the following pages is to display them in text/alphabetical order:

1800
1801.1
1801
700

How to cause Mediawiki to display these pages in numerical order like this:

700
1800
1801
1801.1
