Currently living in Southampton and working as a Research Scientist at Ordnance Survey.
I am working on the application of semantic web technologies to problems in the geospatial domain. In particular I am currently involved in constructing RDF gazetteers for the linked data web. I was responsible for creating the current linked data offering from Ordnance Survey.
Before I started dabbling in semantic web technologies I was a mathematician, and did my PhD in relativity. When I'm not thinking about physics, maths or ontologies I really enjoy live music, and in particular I spend most of my free time following New Model Army around Europe.
