Mohammad Mushfiqur Rahman Chowdhury holds a PhD scholarship from the SWACOM Project in the area of User Mobility and Service Continuity. Working areas include User Identity, User Identity handling using Mobile phone, Social Identity, Social Networking.

He joined UniK July 2006. Previously, he served as Radio Planning Engineer at GrameenPhone Bangladesh in the Technical Department from 2005-2006. GrameenPhone is an affiliate of Telenor, Norway. He was a lecturer at AIUB. Before that he was RA and TA at University of Vaasa.

He received his MSc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the Helsinki University of Technology in 2004. He obtained his BSc. in electrical and electronic engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 2002.
