This year's 2008 OWLED workshop will be co-located with the International Semantic Web Conference (ISWC), this year held in Karlsruhe, Germany. Like all events of the OWLED series, the workshop will bring users, implementors and researchers together to measure the state of need against the state of the art, and to set an agenda for research and deployment in order to incorporate OWL-based technologies into new applications.

This event should not be confused with the earlier OWLED 2008 DC of the OWLED series, an "interim" workshiop held near Washington DC.
