Political entity

Political entity is a collective term for Country State Province etc which are all political divisions of physical territory. The category system of Ontoworld is being used to organise all the different types of political entity in a sensible tree structure. e.g. States of the United States is a subcategory of State.

These are considered to be mutable in terms of name and boundary, and related to a Geographical region. The property has geographical location is used to link to the Geographical region, in some cases with the same name, or more than one.
