Property:Display unit

This description applies to the old SMW version 0.7 The behavior is somewhat different in SMW 1.0, which ontoworld.org is running.

Display unit was a special semantic attribute that specifies an additional unit for attribute display. If an attribute does not specify any display unit or Main display unit, then it will appear converted into all units. You can add one or more of these values to an property page to limit the display, or to control the unit name used (e.g. "mins" instead of "minutes"). The additional unit conversions appear in the tooltip and factbox and some search results. For example, see how Property:Age displays ages converted into seconds, but not into days, minutes, or hours that its Type:Time also supports.

Note that even if you limit the display of units, you can still specify a property value using any unit that the property's type supports.

This is obsolete in SMW 1.0. It's an alias for Property:Display units (note the trailing 's', which takes a comma-separated list of preferred units whose first item is the main display unit.
