Property:Has category

From semanticweb.org
Jump to: navigation, search

Indicates that a subject which is itself not a class has an associated class. Don't use this for membership of a category, just put pages in the category using [[Category:xyz]].

Another informal approach to this problem is to use a plural category name to categorize instances of the class, and a singular category name to categorize articles about the topic. Compare Wikipedia's wikipedia:Category:Cities and wikipedia:Category:City.

See also Help:Category.

The inverse property for the category is Property:Category about.
