Property:SWikiFeat:ClassModel

From semanticweb.org
Jump to: navigation, search

This attribute specifies “which way around” a class is defined, for wikis which maintain an implicit, or enforce an explicit, ontology.

  • fromclass --- instances have all the properties of their class.
    • e.g., specify that “person” has a name property, then all people must have names.
  • frominstances --- classes have all the common properties of their instances.
    • e.g., if all people have names, then class “person” includes a name property.
  • inferred --- instances are categorised into classes based on their properties.
    • e.g., if an instance has a name, and class “person” specifies a name property, then that instance is considered a person.
  • none --- the wiki doesn't deal with class property cardinality constraints.
