Web resources

Semantic MediaWiki (SMW) is a semantic wiki engine that enables users to add semantic data to wiki pages. This data can then be used for better searching, browsing, and exchanging of information. SMW also powers semanticweb.org. Current information about SMW can be found on its homepage semantic-mediawiki.org, which also contains the complete user documentation.

While Semantic MediaWiki is developed by an extended group of developers world-wide (the SMW Project), significant developments have been contributed by AIFB, Karlsruhe.

Testing SMW online

There are three testing wikis in place for testing SMW and some of its offshoot MediaWiki extensions: sandbox.semantic-mediawiki.org, scratchpad.referata.com and smwtest.wikihoster.net. Please do not use semanticweb.org for software testing, and remove inappropriate content where you encounter it.
