An interesting question is, even if 2 systems can import/export with exactly syntactically compatible formats, what the protocol would be to completely merge them and periodically keep them synchronized. For instance if 2 axioms or theorems can be identified as the same name but are semantically defined slightly differently, which one is chosen by both systems? Because of the fine grained nature of the objects involved, the Wiki Interchange Format used may need some functionality of SyncML. A kind of Ontology Merging
