Talk:San Diego

San Diego is a <relation type="is a">city</relation> city located in the southwestern corner of California, the extreme southwestern corner of the United States.

It seems a new syntax was anonymously proposed by 81.163.228.240. The proposal seems to look like this:

Instead (or addition to) the current wiki-like "[[relation::object]]" syntax, an SGML-like syntax is proposed: "<relation type="relation">object</relation>". This user also noticed that templates can be used to avoid the verbosity of the syntax: "{{is a|city}}"--Joris Gillis 18:13, 27 December 2005 (CET)

[edit] coordinates

I added Template:Coor_dms and then coordinates using {{coor dms }} as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin has, but this does not show up as an attribute of San Diego. There's no type listed for global coordinates in Category:Datatype although Built in Types says it's available. I'm not sure how the coor template and the coor type would relate. --Skierpage 09:02, 24 January 2006 (CET)
