Hi there!
My name is Michael Schneider, and I am new in town! :)
Currently, I am going to (ab)use this page as
- my personal sandbox and
- my list of questions and todo's.
But, at least, I will tell the interested part of the world a view things about me. I was born in 1971 in a little nice town called Schlüchtern, which is located in Germany. My first steps in computer programming took place on a Commodore 64, when I was in the age of 14. And now, 20 years later, I am still programming... :) Currently, I am a computer science PhD student at the University of Frankfurt am Main.

[edit] TODO / Important
- Try to split my brain between TWiki and Media Wiki syntax (hard!)
[edit] Questions
- Do I need to first build a page for a self defined template together with some type in order to use it?
- I just have build the template {{niceGuy:={{{1}}}|{{{1}}} is a nice guy}}. But using it by writing
-
{{niceGuy:=m_schnei}} - as in "Template:NiceGuy:=m schnei" does not give me the attribute "niceGuy" in the list of attribute values (just some "Templage:NiceGuy")!
- An attribute on a user page is a property of the user. In this case a category "nice guy" would be more appropiate, or an attribute niceness with value e.g. "great".--Patrick 01:37, 13 November 2006 (CET)
