My name is Emanuele D'Arrigo but most people call me Manu. I am a 3D Technical Director for the visual effects industry, currently working primarily in Prime Focus London, a Post-Production house smack in the middle of London. While I normally deal with 3D Computer Graphics (hence the 3D in my title), I'm also interested and I've been involved in setting up production pipelines and infrastructure. That's why I requested for a MediaWiki to be installed in Prime Focus, and that's why I'm currently evaluating the potential of the SMW Extension for internal use.
Foreseeable applications of SMW (in conjunction with templates):
- listings of people and their extension
- listings of people in a role, team, department, facility, city
- listings of sequences in a production
- listings of shots in a sequence, ordered and/or filtered by attributes such as completion level.
