Michael W. Dietrich is the initiator of the self-qs Project which was initiated to collect, define and describe (german) terms, items, practices and tools used in process-management and quality-management/assurance (whereas we see process-management as a way of improving quality as described in TQM).

Most active Members of self-qs are german speaking today, which menas theres no english. french, spanish, turkish or whatsoever language definitions of self-qs today. BUT users from any language are invited to use self-qs (as it is a true wiki - though editing requires registration for technical purposes - e.g. html enabled to authors).

Also most active members of self-qs are in the it-industry today which menas most articles on self-qs apply to it-industry and might have to be revised under the condition of other industries or branches of knowledge to say the least ;-)

Today in self-qs we're working on a automatic mindmapping extension for mediawiki (well actualy we're just writing the prototype on an offline-copy of our own wiki - self-qs - and will come back later o the idea of publishing this stuff, when its getting more stable). mindWiki as we call our Project will be based on httrack and other OSS Projects, so most parts (besides the httrack modifications that are done in C/C++) are written in Java and PHP.

As mindmapping and semantics in many ways are linked very close together we appreciate to use Semantic Mediawiki from now on (as I first found this approach yesterday 20060525).

Thanx and we support you through extensive testing. -- cool! --Max Völkel 17:31, 26 May 2006 (CEST)
