Dr. Sebastian Schaffert is a Senior Researcher in the group "knowledge-based information systems" at Salzburg Research Forschungsgesellschaft m.b.H. His research interests are in Web and Semantic Web systems, knowledge representation, XML and semistructured data, and reasoning languages for the Web. Sebastian received his PhD from the University of Munich with a thesis entitled "Xcerpt: A Rule-Based Query and Transformation Language for the Web". He has published scientific papers at numerous conferences and several journals.

I'll participate at the ESWC2006 conference and will be chairing the Semantic Wiki workshop. Some dates:
